For a luxury Daniel Libeskind designed residence on Singapore’s Keppel Bay, ICN’s landscape resonates with the surrounding water and coastline. Taking inspiration from the rocky bay tides, the garden radiates long sensual curves to shape an extensive waterscape. Like an island rising up from the centre of the pools, the social club is clothed with a simple green mantle, maximizing a sense of openness and space. Stately trees give the whole development an atmosphere of cool tranquility, lined with internal gardens.
Along west facing Keppel Bay Drive a richly planted forest of native trees, boasts Pouterias and Palaquim, with a dappled understorey of forest Ixora, providing welcome shade from afternoon sun. Emerging from the still water a forest of majestic Agathis trees creates a perfect restful entrance to the inner garden. Two waterfronts become promenades, both public and private. Subtle pavement, heritage artifacts, seating and arrays of Livistonia palms mark the water’s edge and signature coral in the clear dock waters below.
